Went to the mall after, and umm shopped. I gotta stop doing that. But who are we kidding? Shopping=fun. And shopping=happy.
Know what else?...
I went to this women's Bible study tonight (Hillary, are you proud, or what?!). I thought reading with other people would totally focus me to read the Bible and then get questions answered right? Which, umm, might be the whole purpose of the group? lol. But I really liked it. Gonna go every week.
My favorite for the night?...
If any one of you is without sin, let them be the first to throw a stone at her... Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? No one, sir. Then neither do I condemn you.
Just thought I'd share. I promise, no more Bible stuff. Okay, I don't promise.

That's great that the boys have an activity they both like and can do together. Shopping is great too! Bible study...very good Katie. Maybe you can encourage me because I struggle in that department. I'm proud of you. Now don't be getting super holy on me okay?! Lemme stop...
Good idea with the park, that seems to work for my kids too.
I like that scripture too -- reminds us that we all have mistakes and no one should be judging anyone else.
Cute blog background :)
good for you. this is good stuff.
I am always proud of you! You are an amazing woman who has been to hell and back.
I love that Jaden wants the praise from his brother. He knows he gets it from you but there's something about an older brother who thinks you're a little bit ok!
Hang in there girl!
Love the new layout!
The boys are having a blast! They are always dressed soooooooo cool.
Sounds like the bible study is a good place to be. I love that quote. Yeah, I will NOT be throwing stones to anyone. Besides, those kind of stones are actually boomerangs and will come bouncing right back in the direction of the condemner!
You're doing an awesome job Katie, keep your head up!!!!

Bible study is always encouraging and it's nice to have a supportive group of women along for the ride. It sounds like you and your boys are doing well. :)
Looks like the boys had a blast, take care of yourself
i like the new background! good color combination. :)
i'm like the antithesis of that bible verse. i'm the world's biggest stone thrower. i blame the job. :)
Where have I been? You wrote about all the unknown bloggers, but I have been MIA for many months!
I could tell something was missing from your most recent post and couldn't put my finger on it, so I scrolled through post after post until I found sweet Jared. I am so sorry he died. I can only imagine how much you miss him still. I was unsure of commenting about him for fear of making you sad, but when I thought about it, I realized you already think about him every day. Just wanted to send you my love and friendship and say I enjoy your honesty and openness. Thanks for sharing a piece of you life with us. :)
You don't have to approve this comment, but I just went back and read your "all about Jared" post and found the comment I left there after you had visited my blog.
My baby boy ended up coming 3 days early...I wanted him to be late....and is turning one on March 5th! I can't believe how time flies. It seems like just yesterday that I read your sweet original post about Jared and left my comment. Maybe on your end the last seven months have dragged on forever...sometimes when I think of the baby I lost (at 15 weeks in utero) it seems like yesterday and other times it seems like ages ago. In reality it was 6 and a half years ago and he's still as much my baby now as he was those precious 15 weeks and the day I found out he died. More love to you. :)
Way to go on the Bible study...I need to do that too. That story from the bible is one of my top three. Good stuff! Our skate parks are still covered in white stuff.
