Me and James in Maui in September 02Just James and I went to Maui for my marathon.
Yep, I ran the Maui marathon.
I decided to only bring James so it could be one on one time.. We really enjoyed ourselves.
I remember right after the marathon, I went up to the hotel room to lay down, er collapse on the bed. James was pacing, fidgety, bored... wanted to swim. I told myself, ugh, fine, I can do nothing just as well on a lounge chair by the pool. So that's exactly how we spent our day. Had waitresses keep an eye on us all day, bring us food, drinks... ah, heaven.
Would work wonders for us if we could do it again.
His 13 year old self is NOT fun to get along with right now... sigh.

Maui Marathon! That's what I'm talking about! You are a woman after my own heart. It takes me about 64 minutes to run 5 miles. I know I suck. Thanks! HaHa.
