Friday night I went bowling with the boys. Jaden has to work on his whining when not doing so well – but otherwise was a good time had by all. Dang sorry, I gotta start taking my camera with me everywhere again.
Saturday, got nails done, then gasp, ready for this?... I braved the mall. I know, crazy. But got some good shopping done, so it was worth it I guess. I hung out with a good friend Friday evening, and we had a really good time.
On Sunday, I went to see Wicked. It was a really good show… if you haven’t been yet and are close enough – go check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

And oddly, on Sunday it was crazy warm. Like 50. All snow melted. And then, just for the fun of it… it’s this today:

WTF?!
-13 degrees?!
Do you know what that feels like?!
Trust me, describing it involves a a whole lof of bad words.
So the rain from yesterday is now sheets of ice today… and yep, makes morning commute super fun. Oh, and try walking on it… high heels and sheets of ice. woo hoo

It all sounds fun except for the cold/icy part. Yuck.
Be careful in those heels......
Yes, does sound like it was a great weekend except for the ice. We were in the lower 20's on Friday and it will warm up to the mid 70's this week. This is getting crazier each week! Don't know if we should build a fire or go out for ice cream!
Wicked is coming to SLC, and I tried, and tried to get tickets, but the way they sold them was jacked unless you were a memeber of the theatre. Crap.
I wish I did live where it played all the time. I am jealous!
And you should wear tennis shoes to work, I do, high-heels in the snow, WTF?? Your crazy!
Lynsie, hey kinda still new to this whole snow crap... one day I'll conform and 'do as the locals do'... ha. Just hasn't happened yet.
=)
Lynsie you are definietly right on the whole tennis shoe on second thought I would change my whole outfit once I got to work. There is no way possible to put on nice closed do your hair and maybe put on a little face (makeup...or as I call it accenter).. umm where was I ---Oh yeah, but there is no way to end up at work looking the same way you did when you left home, hell I don't even recognized my self in the rear view mirror!!
It's POURING HERE!
Ummm High Heels? You're so sexy ;)
We have Wicked tickets for April, I am very excited!!
-13 is way to freakin cold!!!
It's hanging out in the 20's here in Oregon and it is soooo not normal for these parts. I keep hearing my furnance click on.
You have to tell me- what in the world is your heating bill like with temps like that?? What do you keep your house temp at? I'm just so curious because I can't imagine -13!
i wear the dorkiest, heaviest, clunkiest snow boots in that weather. they're warm and i won't slip.
i do put my heels on when i get to my destination though. i do have SOME pride.
glad you had a good weekend. and yeah, get that camera back out.
I hear you. Right now it is 16 degrees outside, and it feels like -4. I so hate the winter.
I hate this Midwestern weather. I'm from Texas--I'm not made for all this freak'n snow!!! Most of our snow melted too but we're expecting 3-5 this afternoon AGAIN. *sigh* It's not even officially "winter" yet and I'm sick of it! :(
Anyway, glad you had a wonderful weekend and got some shopping accomplished! :)
I have been wanting to see Wicked for the last couple of years!!!
Maybe one day!
-13 degrees?!
Yikes.
Today was 75!!! That's pretty unusual here though!
