bad losers

Do you have any friends that are bad losers?
Always have an excuse for why they lost?
Wasn’t their fault?
Hey it might be even something you did that made them lose…
You know… those would’ve, could’ve, should’ve people?

First let me preface this with I am a very good loser, always have been, doesn’t bother me at all. I will play hard and play to win… but if after that hard work I still lose? I will survive, it has never really bothered me. Good job, congratulations, you won. BUT, I am however, a bad winner. Backwards I know.

Like for instance, if we have a bet going, say over a couple of weeks, and I win this said bet… I will keep reminding you of this over and over, at least for a little while until I get bored. And truthfully, I will only do this to the bad losers. Because if you’re being a bad loser already, I might as well give you a reason right? And bug you even more… I might possibly text you and say, hey good morning, beautiful day isn’t it? You might reply with, yes it is… and then I would have to say, hey remember yesterday? You know when you lost the bet and I umm, won?

Hehe. Sorry, it makes me happy.

Okay, wait I got off subject… bad losers.

What if you’re a gracious winner, and then the loser tries to say, well that’s only because of this, or only because that happened, or I should’ve done it this way, I was going to pick this one… really the list goes on and on.

What if the person that lost says okay okay you won, but only because of this. Or maybe I lost, but that’s only because it was raining, and the drops were in my eye, and it was umm a Tuesday. Or umm, I had a bologna sandwich for lunch, I never work well on a bologna sandwich, yeah, yeah, that’s the reason, you shouldn’t of made me that sandwich, it’s your fault. Like they refuse to admit that you won… fair and square. Simply because you did a better job. You played better. You WON. And they LOST. Period.

And when you are being gracious and dealing with someone that lost like that,
doesn’t it just make you want to rub it in more?
doesn’t it compel you to remind them of the loss?
does it make you laugh every time they come up with a new excuse?
do you think, great, how long am I going to have to listen to this?

Just me?

Just wondering.

And yes I know a few people like that -- they drive me crazy!!

okay, yep, this just happened. I won and I've heard nothing but the reasons why this happened and what should have been done differently and what went wrong.

And if you're reading... ahem, you lost. I won. Get over it. Can't wait for the day to collect my winnings.

Something brought this on...do tell! I am exactly the same way. I like to win but I'm not a sore loser. Bad losers suck!

HaHa!!

*****hey remember yesterday? You know when you lost the bet and I umm, won?***

That's what I'm talking about. NO NEED to explain to anyone what this is all about. All that needs to be told is YOU won and THEY lost.

Pay up!

The end! :)

In general, I'd say I'm a pretty good loser, that is, unless I'm competing against my husband!

Then I can be a bad loser as he rubs it in a little too hard!

=)

Happy New Year Katie!

I hate bad loser. And they're always the ones that want to play or compete in something knowing they can't handle losing.

I think I got a comment from your husband on my photo blog. It was bizarre, hateful, and in very poor taste. I deleted it. Just thought you'd like to know. If you want to see what he said (or tell me that it's not him) my email is stiesthoughts@gmail.com.

Hope all is well, friend.

I too got a bizarre comment from your "Husband" today. I deleted it also, but it was very personal and distasteful.
Ciao from Italia,
