4 glorious days off

A quick recap of 4 days off, otherwise known as 'days I didn't have to go to work in this horrid weather'... that sounds much better.

Wednesday night I went out with friends... we had a great time as we always do.

Thursday I forced a friend to cook. It's Thanksgiving, I want to smell Turkey in the oven... I cannot be expected to cook it myself can I?

Thanks Tosha, you're the best

I forgot to bring my camera of course, but Tosha had hers:

(nooo, don't be silly, I'm not cooking in this picture... I'm simply picking apart the turkey and eating the skin... Mmmm, best part)

Boys were wrestling, pants got ripped off... James then put 9 year old pants on his 13 year old self... Yeah right, like I'm not gonna post those pictures. He always provides the entertainment:

Friday, I did not go shopping... that is usually enough to keep me happy.

Wait, I'm finding these days are too far gone now, and I don't even remember what we did... geez, sorry, short term memory remember? With that said, I don't remember what we did Saturday. Saturday night however, we hung out with friends again. Always fun.

Sunday is becoming tradition, kinda, to watch football at Buffalo Wild Wings with Tosha and her boys... Com'on, a place where every single game is on... and video games to make kids go away? Niiiice.

Wait, I also went to church again Sunday, yay me.

Sunday eve, I attempted to catch up on laundry - didn't work by the way.

Monday I woke up and had to go to work. Sigh. In the snow. People are stupid in the snow, I think we've discussed this before. They don't know how to drive normally, but add in snow... watch out, the stupid people come on strong in traffic.

Monday night, I threw up all night, ugh, I think it's flu... and yet Tuesday morning, my achy body is sitting at my desk at work trying not to throw up and looking out my windows at weather like this:

And that feels like this:

Stupid Mother Nature... you're letter is coming soon.

(okay okay that was a recap of more than four days... so sue me)

Sounds like a COLD day but to be honest I wish it would snow at least once here so I could get that Christmas feeling it is just not Christmas time in my mind until there is LOTS of SNOW!!!!

well seems to me that you had a great turkey day! Of course we would not mistake you for actually cooking the bird, duh! You were the sampler and yes the skin is the best part! The jeans thing is too funny and church? again? Wow, I am suddenly feeling bad. Okay done feeling bad now back to my normal self! Sorry about the weather. I know how much you just love Winter :P

NINE degrees? And you still went outside? And you didn't freeze? I hate cold weather too. We tend to get psycho winds up this way too and so the bitter cold blows right through your coat. It's miserable.

Did I mention I hate cold weather?
