jared is funny

...so Jared is watching the incredibles, it was bedtime, dad picked him up to take him to bed, but in the process Jared got a closer look at the TV and could not stop giggling. Dad couldn't bear to tear him away. He stood there with him for about 20 minutes until the movie was over... and Jared could finally catch his breath from all of the giggling.

(In case you don't already know, Jared ONLY takes off his left sock. I've nev-er seen him take off his right sock - but for some reason, the left sock is a big no no. We thought we were the only ones that might have noticed this pattern of his... however, he came home from school one day with a picture of him as an Indian Chief, with the title... "Chief Left Sox". Apparently he let's everyone know... Left Sock? umm, no thank you.)

Jared doesn't like his hat

Jared does not like the snow. Jared does not like the cold. He does not like big jackets and having to squeeze them into his wheelchair. He does not like hats on his head. So I made him sit up and wear it :) (it was however, morning right before getting into the wheelchair, I didn't make him wear it just for a picture...)

Christmas tree

I finally got the Christmas tree and put it up today. So, after promising the boys that I would decorate this weekend - I only missed the deadline by one day.  They got home from school and were happy to see it... and most of them didn't even realize they didn't get to help decorate it (okay okay, I know I'm horrible, but I like it to be pretty, and when they help decorate, they somehow always manage to find ornaments that I didn't even know existed, and never should have in the first place I might add, and attempt to put them on the tree, and then I try and take it off, or move it to the back of the tree and then they get mad that I moved it and then decorating for Christmas somehow wasn't as much fun as we all thought it would be.  Umm... no., thank you)

Yeah, I know, bad me.  Pretty tree though.  hehe.

MILES

I have no new pictures yet, hopefully more will come from the breeder soon... but my husband insisted that I post the name of our new puppy. The house was divided on the name - half wanted Miles, half wanted Charlie Brown - I was the deciding factor - I gave it to my husband and let him pick. MILES it is. I guess he thinks it's official if it's on a blog? hehe

Jared has been sick, he needed to sit up for a little while, he liked it by the fire...

our new dog... no name yet

okay, just got the pictures of new puppy via email from the breeder... we will be picking him up on the 29th of December - his birthday is November 19th.

Not sure of his name yet... the thoughts/ideas so far are Mos Def, Rudy (for Roudoulf), Miles, Charlie Brown...

Umm, the children in this house seem to have this love for themselves... a good thing, I know - but theirs is a bit obsessive... ;)

These were all taken by the guy in the picture - either with the camera in their own hand, or sitting on a countertop on a timer - either way, they were the only one in the room when the picture was taken.

Superheroes

So here's the story...

We're out shopping, James needs new underwear, James picks up a package of Hanes, we get home, he opens them up, and... GASP... their not boxer briefs! How can he possibly be expected to wear 'tighty whiteys'? That would be embarrassing. So what do Aamir and James decide to do?

Apparently be a little less embarrassing... and wear them on the outside of their clothes and be superheroes.
